SANTO DOMINGO.- Permanecen secuestradas las 27 personas que iban como pasajeros en un autobús de la empresa de transporte Capital Coach Line, el cual fue retenido el miércoles en Haití por una banda armada, según fuentes extraoficiales.
La situación se registra a pesar de que Johan Antonio de la Rosa, de 32 años, y quien conducía dicho vehículo regresó sano y salvo a la República Dominicana, de donde es oriundo.
Aquí fue recibido en el paso fronterizo El Carrizal, de Elías Piña, confirmó el Ministerio de Defensa dominicano. Llegó en el mismo autobús donde el miércoles se produjo el secuestro, en la comuna Croix Des-Bouquets, cerca de Puerto Príncipe.
Este vehículo salió de la capital dominicana a las 6:35 de la mañana y fue interceptado en territorio haitiano a primera hora de la tarde por presuntos integrantes de la banda 400 Mazoo. Todo sus ocupantes, excepto el chofer, eran haitianos.
OBLIGADOS A ABORDAR OTROS DOS VEHÍCULOS
Una versión señala que fueron obligados por unos 15 bandoleros haitianos, armados, a abordar otros dos vehículos, en uno de los cuales iba el chofer dominicano y el jefe de la banda que hizo el secuestro, y en el otro (una camioneta) los demás secuestrados, como «sardinas en lata».
Al primero de los vehículos se le agotó el combustible y Johan Antonio de la Rosa, para ganar su confianza, ayudó al secuestrador echarle diesel, pero en un descuido de este último salió corriendo por patios aledaños junto a la azafata. Esta última, quien también es haitiana, durante la fuga recibió tres balazos: uno en la rodilla, otro en el muslo y un tercero cerca de su parte íntima, por lo cual fue ingresada en un hospital y será trasladada a República Dominicana.
El chofer fue ayudado por haitianos quienes lo escondieron y al día siguiente, en la mañana, lo trasladaron a la sede de la compañía de autobuses para la cual labora. El resto de los secuestrados fue llevado a una zona denominada Lasserre.
APARENTE COMPLICIDAD POLICIAL
Aparentemente este secuestro fue cometido en complicidad con la propia policía haitiana, en razón de que agentes suyos iban detrás del autobús y no hicieron nada para impedir el hecho, porque tienen retrasos de hasta tres meses en sus pagos.
Algo que demuestra el deterioro de la situación en Haití es que, a pesar de que el secuestro fue cometido alrededor de las 2:00 de la tarde, el Jefe de la Policía todavía a las 5:00 de la tarde no sabía nada del mismo.
Es la segunda vez que un autobús de la empresa Capital Coach Line es atacado por bandidos armados del grupo 400 Mawozo, que controla la región en medio de la total indiferencia de las autoridades.
Desde hace varios años, Haití está dominado por un clima de inseguridad cada vez más deteriorado y marcado por la multiplicación de secuestros, atentados y conflictos armados entre bandas.
