La DGM informa la detención de 1,111 haitianos indocumentados
SANTO DOMINGO.- La Dirección General de Migración (DGM) de la República Dominicana informó haber detenido en las últimas 24 horas a mil 111 haitianos indocumentados y deportado a 977.
Al menos 793 fueron arrestados en el Gran Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal y Monte Plata, 33 en Santiago de los Caballeros y 98 en La Vega, Duarte, Nagua, Sánchez Ramírez y Hermanas Mirabal.
En Mao y Santiago Rodríguez fueron detenidos 50, en Hato Mayor y El Seibo 2; en La Altagracia, La Romana y San Pedro de Macorís 61; en Azua, Peravia y San José de Ocoa 32, en Barahona 33, Puerto Plata 21, Montecristi 35, Dajabón 8, Elías Piña 32, San Juan 29, Independencia 57, Bahoruco 57 y en Pedernales 66.
La DGM indicó además haber recibido 191 de esos extranjeros detenidos por el Ejército, 71 por la Policía Nacional y 56 por el Cuerpo Especializado en Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre.
