HAITI: Inundaciones ocasionan trece muertos y quince heridos

PUERTO PRINCIPE 25 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) – Las lluvias torrenciales que han tenido lugar en Haití en las últimas 72 horas se han saldado hasta el momento con el fallecimiento de 13 personas, a las que se suman 15 heridos y un desaparecido, según un informe parcial publicado por Protección Civil de Haití en la red social X (antigua Twitter).

«Las lluvias persistentes provocaron importantes inundaciones en cuatro departamentos (Noroeste, Grande Anse, Nippes y Norte) que afectaron a carreteras, viviendas y cultivos», ha indicado la organización.

Las lluvias también han destruido 501 casas, al tiempo que se han inundado 16.515 viviendas y se han registrado daños en 101 más, según el informe.
