COE pone ocho provincias y DN en alerta amarilla por lluvias

SANTO DOMINGO.- El Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) colocó al Distrito Nacional y ocho provincias en alerta amarilla, y mantiene a otras ocho en aviso verde, debido a las lluvias asociadas al sistema frontal que avanza hacia el noroeste.

Las provincia en alerta amarilla son Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, Samaná, El Seibo, Santo Domingo, La Altagracia, La Romana y San Pedro de Macorís.

Y en verde María Trinidad Sánchez, La Vega, Hermanas Mirabal, Santiago, Duarte, Sánchez Ramírez, Espaillat y Monseñor Nouel.

El COE, además, recomendó a las personas que residen en lugares vulnerables que se abstengan de cruzar ríos, arroyos y cañadas que presenten altos volúmenes de agua.
